Wednesbury has been making things from metal since the medieval period. The japanning trade — decorative metalwork — gave its name to "Wednesbury Ware" that was sold across Europe in the 18th century. St Bartholomew's Church sits high on the hill above the town, visible from much of the surrounding Black Country, and has been the spiritual heart of the community for 900 years.
Today Wednesbury is connected to Birmingham city centre by the West Midlands Metro tram — a genuine asset that makes car-free living more viable than almost anywhere else in the Black Country. The Wednesbury Metro stop serves the town well and we regularly help residents who've chosen Wednesbury specifically for the Metro connection.
Kings Hill is our most regular area — a mix of housing types on the high ground above the town centre. The High Bullen and King Street area has market day restrictions (Tuesday and Saturday) so we always book these moves for early morning or after market hours.
Wednesbury Parkway Metro stop connects directly to Birmingham city centre. Many residents here commute by tram and are happy to let us handle the removal logistics entirely — no car needed.
